Round Needlepoint Finishing Class with Starke Art Design – Friday, Sept 18 (1:00 PM – 4:00 PM)

In this hands-on workshop, you will learn everything you need to know about finishing a round needlepoint canvas. We will cover the crucial art of making custom cording—an essential step where scale and precision make all the difference. You will leave this class with a beautifully finished piece ready to display or gift, along with the skills and confidence to finish future projects at home. Kelly Starke of Starke Art Designs, is a national teacher with a professional finishing workshop in Massachusetts.

Prerequisite: This class is required before taking any advanced finishing workshops (even if you have finished elsewhere, this ensures everyone learns the signature Starke Art method).

• What to Bring: Please bring one stitched canvas and two fabric choices
• What is Provided: All necessary finishing tools, supplies, and a step-by-step instruction packet with detailed photos.

Instructor bio: Kelly is the owner/designer of Starke Art Designs. In addition to her line of wonderful needlepoint designs, she finishes all levels of needlepoint from ornaments to intricate dimensional pieces. Kelly shares her exceptional finishing skills in numerous YouTube videos and is now traveling to LNS' to share even more in person.
